Awango by total in Bangladesh

Totalgaz Bangladesh aims to take affordable lights to one million people in Bangladesh with plans to sell 200,000 solar lamps in the next five years.

It’s mission is to provide an alternative energy solution for those households in the countryside, mostly outside the electricity grid’s coverage. The plan is part of the company’s global access to energy initiative, Awango by Total in Bangladesh.

Awango is a line photovoltaic solar lighting solution that can be used for a range of options like charging mobile phones to portable solar lights.

By launching Awango by Total range of products, Total Bangladesh aims to bring safe and best quality solar lights under the brand name of Awango by Total, to every off-grid house in Bangladesh.

Total Bangladesh is a partner of the Lighting Bangladesh project of the International Finance Corporation.
